The Stilwell Road, narrated by Ronald Reagan tells of the land bridge in Burma "scratched out of the mountains with fingernails" at the cost of countless Chinese lives so tha the blockaded country of China could fight on against the Japanse Military with supplies of guns, ammunition, fuel, & food! Rolling back the enemy advances in the Pacific the Allies came within striking distance of Japan, and in the Battle of Saipan we invaded our first objective in the Marianas Islands, their administrative center in 1944. Then it was on to Guam the largest of the Marianas islands and still a vital guardian of Japan's sea lanes in the summer of 1944, the first American posession to fall to Japan. It was now the next on our schedule to attack! 83 minutes, B & W., Audio: English Dolby Mono.
